If you would like to be even more involved in how your money is spent to support orphans in China, you can choose to fund a special project proposal.  These special projects range from very small to very large, so you are sure to find something that suits your budget.  Special projects include specific items needed for the care of orphans in a China Care Children's Home, a specific child’s surgery, sponsoring a child in foster care, and many more.  Choose a special project now!

You can donate supplies for our orphan programs in China:
China Care is always in need of specific items used to care for babies in our China Care  Children's Homes.  We accept used items in excellent condition, new items, and welcome donations of new or slightly irregular items directly from manufacturers.  Your donation can be sent to us in the US (we will arrange shipping to China) or you are welcome to visit our Children's Homes in China and deliver your donations in person.   Please see our updated Needs List for information about what we are currently in need of and how to send your donation. You can sponsor a child in foster care:
China Care's ultimate goal is to see that each child has a family of his own.  To that end, we strive to place special needs orphans in families once their condition is stabilized and medical treatments are completed.  China Care manages its own Foster Care Program, which means that we select, train and regularly visit the foster families in our program.  If you choose to sponsor a child you will receive regular updates and photos of your sponsored child.  We invite sponsors to visit China to see their sponsored child in person and form a deeper, more meaningful relationship.  Sponsor a child in foster care now!

You can come to China and work as a volunteer:
China Care welcomes volunteers to visit China and work in our Children's Homes.  You can come for a short visit of a few weeks, or commit to a longer stay of a year or two.  Either way, you'll have the opportunity to truly give of yourself and help these children in need.  You do not need any special skills or qualifications, but we do have a special need for persons with medical skills, physical therapy training and translation expertise.
