The beautiful Lenox Hotel in Boston, MA, was again home to the Harvard China Care Club’s Fourth Annual Fall Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction. Guests were welcomed with a reception, a delicious three-course meal, and a chance to browse a variety of enticing silent auction items including Celtics tickets, autographed books published by famous Harvard figures and numerous restaurant gift certificates.
The night featured a musical performance by singer-songwriter Dawn Xiana Moon and a keynote speech from Xing Hu, China Domain Manager of the Hauser Center for Nonprofit Organizations at Harvard University. Hu praised the students for their outstanding commitment and pointed out that “By being a part of Harvard China Care, you are at the forefront of cross-cultural exchanges. Your philanthropic efforts may … even help change a country.”
The night was a huge success thanks to the hard work of the club members and generous contributions from Bob Maginn and The Jenzabar Foundation.
