Empowering Youth

China Care was founded by a sixteen-year-old who discovered that he had the power to touch the lives of others. He knew that, if he could do it, so could other youth. So began China Care's second mission: Youth Empowerment. Through China Care clubs on high school and college campuses, and through volunteer programs in China, China Care strives to give young people the opportunity to give of themselves and experience first-hand their own ability to touch the lives of children in need. China Care Clubs

Students at high schools and colleges across the United States and Canada have formed China Care clubs to build awareness and raise money for the China Care cause. We currently recognize more than 40 clubs.

Dumplings Playgroups / Mentoring

China Care Club members regularly reach out to younger children, especially children adopted from China, through our “Dumplings” program. Our members organize playgroups, act as mentors, and organize activities designed to increase appreciation for Chinese culture.

Fundraising Initiatives

Fundraising is a popular way for clubs to help generate significant donations that support our cause and are often a lot of fun for participants too! Every dollar raised makes a difference for the children in our care.

Volunteer Program

The China Care Foundation encourages its active China Care club members to also volunteer at the China Care Home in Beijing. By volunteering, individuals experience the act of giving of themselves.
