China Care Families

"Leah"

Leah is settling in beautifully, and we're beginning the process of re-adoption (which is required since only one of us traveled to get her). Thanks again for your assistance--it means so much to us and will really help.

I'm in the process of getting some new pictures of Leah and will email some to you as soon as I have them developed. She is such a light in our lives--I'm not sure I've ever met someone who is as full of life as she is! The escort from Holt described her as "spicy"--and that's a perfect word for her! We're having the time of our lives enjoying her and just trying to keep a step ahead! She has a great sense of humor and keeps all of us laughing.

We're so glad we opted to adopt an older special needs child. She's been such a blessing to us! Thanks again for helping to bring her home!

Pat G

P.S. This photo was taken 3 days after Leah got home. Big sister Anna (from Korea, age 6) is on the left. Leah (age 4) on the right. I purposely left the files behind the girls--that is the adoption paperwork! They are eating noodles for breakfast (Leah's favorite).
