Grace Olenski
Director of Development

Grace has always had a passion for children. With two children of her own and an intense dedication to family, she felt compelled to help other children who did not have the love and support she knew so well. She started at China Care in 2005 with the hope of improving the lives of children in need. As Director of Development, Grace keeps in constant contact with China Care’s individual donors as well as works with corporate and foundation supporters. She also implemented and continues to oversee the Foundation’s data management system. Prior to China Care, Grace acquired her excellent people skills and management abilities as the owner and operator of two small businesses. She lives in Connecticut with her family.

Patty-Shuping Li
Financial Manager

Patty-Shuping Li was born and raised in China, where she received a Masters degree in English literature. Her first job was as a college teacher in Beijing. In 2001, when she moved with her husband to the United States, Patty made the decision to not only embrace a new country, but also a new career. She bid farewell to the world of literature and navigated into a new universe filled with numbers, charts, and formulas. She graduated from George Washington University with a Masters in Accounting and subsequently worked at a CPA firm and eventually Citi Group. Patty became a member of the China Care family in 2007. She loves her job as it allows her to use her language skills, financial expertise, and passion for Chinese culture in a noble mission to help children in China.
