Something to Crow About?
Singer's appearance is music to the ears of China Care supporters

Last year, guitar legends B.B. King and Jeff Beck teamed up to help raise more than $275,000 for the China Care Foundation at that organization's first annual "Feel Good Party of the Year" at the Belle Haven Club.

This year, singer Sheryl Crow and blues legend Buddy Guy have China Care feeling even better. The two stars recently headlined a night at the Belle Haven Club that raised somewhere around $400,000 for the foundation, which was founded by Greenwich resident and Harvard University junior Matt Dalio. (Dalio founded China Care four years ago, as a teen, after several trips to China.)

The goal of the China Care Foundation is to unite Chinese orphans and American adopting families by promoting and facilitating those adoptions. The foundation also contributes to better orphan care in China and gives support to special needs orphans and the families that adopt them. China Care also recently established its first-ever China Care Children's Home in Taiyuan, China.
